Staybridge Suites Naples-Gulf Coast

This mid-range property offers clean, pleasantly adorned interiors and a solid set of features that attract both leisure and business travelers. The bright and inviting lobby is decorated with attractive wooden floors and lots of natural light streaming through large windows. There's plenty of seating clustered about, including armchairs, couches, and dining tables and chairs (the space doubles as a breakfast room), while a fireplace lends the space a sense of coziness. There are outdoor spaces to relax in as well, including around a fire pit and at the poolside tiki bar. Thanks to thoughtful features, like evening social hours with free drinks and bites (hosted a couple of times throughout the week), the property has a a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Overall, it's a great choice in the mid-range category, and garners good reviews from past guests.

The hotel is situated off a busy road in the Park Shore area of northern Naples. There are a couple of casual dining options in the immediate area, like a Domino's, as well as a Walgreens and Chase bank. The Holocaust Museum of SouthWest Florida is across the street. There's a Publix grocery store (five-minute walk) for stocking in-room refrigerators. Downtown Naples is around a 12-minute drive away. Clam Pass Park and its beach are about a six-minute drive from the hotel. Other area attractions include the Naples Museum of Art (five-minute drive), the Naples Zoo (eight-minute drive), Delnor-Wiggins Pass State Park (15-minute drive), Naples Botanical Garden (16-minute drive), and Collier-Seminole State Park (35-minute drive). Naples Municipal Airport is about a 15-minute drive away. Southwest Florida International Airport is a 35-minute drive. Fort Myers is around a 60-minute drive from the hotel.

Suites are spacious and mostly contemporary in style, with sleek dark wood furniture and a mostly brown color palette accented by pops of color courtesy of striped or polka-dotted pillows on the couches and beds. All suites have either living areas (in studios) or separate living rooms, which are furnished with sofas, armchairs, and desks with ergonomic chairs. All of the spaces also have kitchenettes that are equipped with a stove, microwave, toaster, full fridge, dishwasher, coffeemaker, and cooking/dining ware. Other standard amenities include flat-screen TVs, DVD players, irons/ironing boards, and free Wi-Fi. 

Bathrooms feature external sinks with roomy vanities and wall-mounted hairdryers, as well as separate rooms with toilets and showers -- though past guests have complained of poor water pressure. Toiletries are provided. Some rooms have pleasant pool views. 

Features here are well thought out. One of the highlights is the hotel's attractive heated outdoor pool, which features a sunny pool deck flanked by palm trees and lined with loungers and umbrella-shaded tables. It's also home to a tiki bar, as well as a hot tub. The hotel also has a small fitness room, but it's equipped with only a couple of machines and some free weights.

A free breakfast is served in the lobby dining area and includes hot items like a make-your-own waffle station, eggs, breakfast meats, and oatmeal. Other perks include evening socials with free beer, wine, and light meals served a few times a week. The hotel also has a small shop that sells snacks and sundries, guest laundry facilities, and a small book exchange. The business center is open 24/7 and has two computers and a printer. Wi-Fi is free throughout the hotel.
