Georgian-inspired architecture and decor grace the lobby, and a well-rounded lineup of features includes a heated outdoor pool and whirlpool, and freebies like hot breakfast, weekday afternoon snacks and alcohol, an area shuttle, and Wi-Fi throughout. Hampton Inn & Suites Nashville – Green Hills

Scene

A handsome Hampton Inn with an eye-catching lobby and subdued ambiance

This Hampton Inn kicks it up a notch in terms of design, with a lobby that has Georgian-inspired decor and rich details. Cherry wood paneling is used extensively, and traditional art, leather furniture, and rugs give the public spaces a touch of elegance. Shaded lamps cast warm, dramatic lighting on walls, creating a dark and intimate atmosphere, and there are white marble floors to balance the effect. A gas fireplace in the center of the seating area completes the cozy look. It's a quiet property despite being next to a busy mall, which attracts both business and leisure travelers, including wedding parties and those with business at the nearby universities.

Rooms

Clean and comfortable but a bit dark, with microwaves, mini-fridges, and coffeemakers

Guest rooms aren't as attractive as the lobby, and they lack elements to brighten the otherwise dark and traditional decor. But spaces still are comfortable, pleasant, and considerably well-equipped. Upholstered armchairs are included in Standard rooms (Kings and Double Doubles), and King Study rooms have sleeper sofas and coffee tables. Standard amenities include 32-inch flat-screen TVs, coffeemakers, microwaves, mini-fridges, and free Wi-Fi. One-bedroom Suites have separate living rooms with kitchenettes that add full fridges, utensils, dishwashers, wet bars, and cooktops. Bathrooms are equally spacious and come with wide granite vanities, magnifying mirrors, shower/tub combos, hairdryers, and Neutrogena toiletries. The rooms are generally quiet, but views are unremarkable.
