Lisboa Camping & Bungalows has campsites and 70 basic bungalows available in a big park well outside of the city center. Downtown Lisbon is about 30 minutes away by bus, but the property offers plenty to do with an outdoor pool, playgrounds, and an indoor game room. Guests can buy their own groceries at the on-site supermarket or purchase meals from the cafeteria. The rooms are functional but bare-bones, with small showers and tube TVs. Guests of this property are generally those who enjoy camping and prefer a rustic experience.

Oyster Hotel Review

This large wooded park with campsites and bungalows attracts budget travelers who enjoy the camping experience.

Lisboa Camping & Bungalows sits in big wooded park. It provides the mainstays of camping -- barbecue facilities and communal bathrooms -- along with several activity areas that include a game room, tennis courts, a large outdoor pool with a snack bar, and children’s playgrounds. Visitors have complained about the state of the bathrooms and toilets, but most guests seek a camping experience, versus one of staying in a hotel, so overall find the property's facilities adequate.

It's far from downtown Lisbon, but public transportation is convenient.

Map of Lisboa Camping & Bungalows

Lisboa Camping & Bungalows is located less than a 15-minute taxi ride from Portela Airport. Campsite guests can reach downtown Lisbon in 30 minutes via bus, though heavy traffic has been known to significantly extend travel time. The Parque Campismo bus stop is just outside the park, and a short walk from the camp.

Wooden bungalows are bare-bones, with functional furniture and small showers.

The property’s bungalows feature bathrooms and kitchenettes, but both show wear and tear, and the bathroom showers are particularly tiny. However, guests of this property seek a camping experience, so amenities such as porches, twice-weekly cleaning, and kitchens with sinks, stoves, microwaves, and kitchenware are considered perks. Some bungalows have bunk beds and all have tube TVs.

Numerous on-site activities include an outdoor pool and tennis courts

The big outdoor pool area has a diving board, separate children’s pools, and a snack bar. There are picnic areas, playgrounds, and a tennis court in addition to a few holes for mini-golf and a game room with a pool table. Bicycles are available for rent as well.

For dining, guests can purchase groceries at the supermarket or order full meals at the cafeteria, which has indoor and outdoor seating. There's also a laundry room and a small business center with two computers and free Wi-Fi.
