The 27-room Hotel Locanda Vivaldi has a prime location, overlooking the Grand Canal and a short walk from Piazza San Marco, the lively square where many of Venice's top tourist attractions are located. Located in the San Marco neighborhood, Hotel Locanda has a coveted address -- within walking distance of the famous Piazza San Marco and overlooking the Grand Canal. It even has its own dock on the water where water taxis (known as vaporetti) can drop guests off after a scenic "motor" around the city.
San Marco is one of the most popular neighborhoods to stay in (due to its convenient location and attractive streets) so it's also one of the most expensive. But guests can wander the streets and find delicious hole-in-the-wall restaurants that cater to locals and offer reasonable prices (and often the best food).

- 5-minute walk to Palazzo Ducale (Doge's Palace)
- 7-minute walk to Piazza San Marco
