Palermitano Hotel is trendy property with a sleek white exterior with black accents and large windows. Interiors feature a wood heavy decor that’s both simple and warm. The lobby is small, with parquet floors, a white marble and wood front desk, and a bench for sitting. There’s a red partition wall that separates the small lobby from the super stylish bar and restaurant. The bar area is small and has wooden stools pulled up to a marble white bar counter. The restaurant sits under a glass atrium and has rustic white gray floors, blond wooden tables, and brown leather booths accented by tribal-print pillows. Farther in is a white marble sushi bar with red-striped walls and padded benches. Other cool design perks include white and blue Moroccan-style tiles in the elevator and a calming rooftop pool. The atmosphere is trendy, yet relaxing, and the hotel attracts mostly couples looking for a hip place to stay in this equally hip neighborhood of Buenos Aires. 

Settled in the Palermo neighborhood, Palermitano Hotel is a bit far from the city's center and its major attractions. It’s a 22-minute walk to the nearest metro stop, though there's a bus stop right outside the hotel's doors. The immediate area should not be overlooked -- the neighborhood has plenty of restaurants and bars, plus a huge nightlife scene. It’s a trendy area that attracts hipsters, young professionals, and artists, and it has scores of interesting boutique shops. Plaza Serrano (a three-minute walk) and Plaza Armenia (a 10-minute walk) are definitely worth a visit. It’s a 45-minute drive to Ezeiza International Airport.

The Palermitano Hotel's 16 rooms are decorated in a pleasant but simple style, with lots of wood elements, including Slavonian oak floors. Black or red accents, plush white beds, and yellow curtains feature nicely with the quality wood furniture. Abstract nature-themed artwork hangs above the beds, and there’s some subtle industrial hints such as chic iron lamps and furniture with silver legs. All rooms have flat-screen TVs, air-conditioning, minibars (though lightly stocked), free Wi-Fi, and safes. There’s no coffee- and tea-making facilities in any of the units, though the two Suites have balconies and living room areas. Bathrooms feature beautiful Carrara marble and include showers or separate showers and tubs. Organic toiletries and hairdryers are provided. Some guests have complained about morning and evening noise from the restaurant.

This small boutique hotel packs in a nice array of amenities and lovely spaces where guests can unwind. The outdoor rooftop pool is surrounded by loungers, and although the pool is small and the area competes with noise from the air-conditioning unit, it’s still a cool spot for a quick dip. Breakfast, which is included in the rates, offers made-to-order eggs, pastries, cereals, fruit, coffee, and juice. The popular on-site restaurant serves Peruvian fare with some Japanese fusion (like sushi) for lunch and dinner. Room service is available. One meeting room is available, and Wi-Fi is free throughout the hotel.
