Apartamentos - Suites Santa Cruz is housed in a fairly nondescript, historic building situated among the narrow streets and alleys of Seville’s historic center. Inside, there’s a relaxed and airy atmosphere thanks to white tile floors and hanging vines. Select antique wooden furniture gives a sense of place. However, as an apartment-style hotel, there are no true public spaces on-site, and guests must check in at a nearby hotel. (This hotel is where breakfast is served as well.) Also note, there’s no elevator between apartment floors, which can be tiresome for guests with heavy luggage. The apartments suit both business travelers and tourists seeking a homey base from which to explore the city, as well as those in Seville on extended stays, but it won't appeal to those looking to mingle with fellow guests.

Apartamentos - Suites Santa Cruz could not be better located for a Seville vacation, being situated right in the historic city center and surrounded by restaurants, bars, and shops galore. It’s also the perfect place to stay during the Easter celebrations of Semana Santa, as most of the processions move through this area. It’s a four-minute walk to the grand Seville Cathedral from the hotel, and it takes six minutes to reach the lovely palace and grounds of the Royal Alcazar. Plaza Espana, a large plaza and park, is 15 minutes away. Travelers can reach most of the major attractions within 20 minutes of walking. The closest bus stop is a six-minute walk away, while the main train station is about a 10-minute drive or 23-minute walk. The bus station at Plaza de Armas can be reached in 10 minutes by car or 20 minutes on foot. Seville's airport is about a 20-minute drive. 

Airy, quiet, and stylish, these apartments and rooms offer a homey and convenient base for exploring the city. Each unit is spacious and tastefully decorated. Some are chic and illuminated by plenty of natural light, with a soft white and blue color scheme and romantic rustic elements. Others feature Andalusian elements: exposed wood beams, terra-cotta floors, antique wood pieces, and red or blue statement colors. Overall, the decor creates a cozy feel and the experience of an authentic Sevillan stay. 

Standard amenities include air-conditioning and flat-screen TVs, but note that the property's free Wi-Fi doesn't reach all the rooms. Most of the apartments are equipped with kitchens that have two-burner stoves, mini-fridges, microwaves, utensils, cookware, sinks, and plates. However, they lack coffee- and tea-making facilities, toasters, and dishwashers. Junior Suites and Double Rooms lack all forms of kitchen facilities, even mini-fridges. Some units have private terraces. Like the apartments, the bathrooms differ in style and some are more spacious than others. They include hairdryers, toiletries, and shower/tub combos, or deep tubs and sleek showers. Daily housekeeping is available. 

Those looking for a property with plenty of amenities, features, or public spaces will find Apartamentos - Suites Santa Cruz lacking; it caters to a self-service crowd. That said, a varied breakfast can be included in the rate and is served at the nearby Vinela Restaurant or outdoors in the courtyard. The hotel does offer free Wi-Fi, but it only reaches the reception area, the breakfast room, and some of the guest rooms and apartments.
