There is a large covered parking lot at the entrance of the hotel. Inside, the hotel is modern with an exclusive appeal. The lobby features glossy black stone floors and reception desk and central lounge area with beige leather sofas and a large dramatic overhead chandelier. Jubilicious, the halal restaurant on the fourth floor has a modern, bright, and airy feel, with floor-to-ceiling windows around the majority of the room. Pappasan, on the other hand, has a retro, rustic vibe with exposed ducting, wooden table and chairs, leather seating, low-hanging contemporary lighting, and eclectic collection of artwork. With 1,500 rooms, this hotel can get quite crowded and noisy. Guests range from business travelers to tourists, including solo travelers, couples, and families. Hotel Boss has an ideal location on Victoria Road in the center of Singapore for easy access to most parts of the city via public transport. There are numerous dining and shopping outlets within the immediate vicinity -- including the large food court on the ground floor of the hotel. The Bugis shopping area and the 24-hour Mustafa Centre are both within a 10-minute walk from the hotel. It's located between two of Singapore's main cultural hubs: Kampong Glam, which is five minutes away via public transport, and Little India, which is 15 minutes away via public transport. The famous Gardens by the Bay is a 12-minute drive. There is a bus stop across from the hotel and the Lavender MRT Station is four minutes on foot. Decor follows a minimalist theme with gray walls, white linens, and standard black and white furniture. The back walls and ceilings in the Standard and Superior Rooms feature funky triangular patterns. The higher category rooms have plain walls with contemporary paintings. The Family Rooms are also quite small, with just enough room for two double beds.
