Bottom Line
Situated in Creekside, a short walk from the base of Whistler, Nita Lake Lodge is a boutique hotel featuring 77 spacious suites. All have similarly elegant, modern decor and huge bathrooms with deep soaking tubs and separate showers, along with wet bars with chrome microwaves, coffee- and tea-making facilities, and toasters. The amenities are equally sleek, with plenty of gorgeous event spaces for weddings and meetings, a beautiful spa with a deck and two whirlpool hot tubs, a plunge pool with another hot tub, and a functional, if dated, fitness center. The dining options here aren't shabby, either, with a Northwest-French fusion fine-dining restaurant, Aura, plus a more casual eatery and a cafe. Travelers shopping around may want to also consider First Tracks Lodge, which offers condo-style lodging.

Nita Lake Lodge offers a wide range of suites, starting at 500 square feet (47 square meters) and running up to 1415 square feet (135 square meters). Studio, One-, and Two-Bedroom Suites are available with either creek or lake views. The corner Nita Suites only have partial lake views. The Rainforest and Glade Suites have mountain views. Decor is consistent across room categories, with a mix of brown or gray tile and off-white flooring and walls paired with elegant light- or dark-wood furnishings and touches of orangey-brown in the form of leather sofas, accent cushions, and details. Bathrooms are spacious and luxurious, with huge mirrors, wooden cabinetry, shiny black-granite countertops and stone floors and accents. All have deep soaking tubs and separate walk-in showers, and L'Occitane toiletries are provided. Pet-friendly rooms are available for a fee.
