This charming, upscale boutique feels like a private home, with 11 beautiful, individually decorated rooms featuring hardwood floors, comfortable beds, and great amenities. Each room has been dedicated to a significant figure in Argentine history -- such as Evita Peron, Che Guevara, General San Martin and Mafalda -- and has themed decor to match. The cozy library is the perfect place to unwind after a long day of sightseeing in the winter, and in the warmer months guests can head up to the rooftop deck, complete with a six-person Jacuzzi and lounge chairs. There’s an attractive breakfast room with classy, homey decor, in which a decent breakfast is served every morning. There’s no full restaurant on-site, but the hotel’s excellent location in the heart of vibrant Palermo Soho offers easy access to plenty of great restaurants.
In the heart of hopping Palermo Soho, home to trendy restaurants, shops and art galleries
Legado Mitico is in the heart of Palermo Soho, a vibrant area with lots of trendy boutiques and restaurants lining the streets that stay bustling late until the night. This neighborhood is the place to be if you're a young, fashionable local or visitor to Buenos Aires. It's within walking distance to Plaza Malabia and Plaza Cortazar, an area packed with vendors on weekends selling art, clothing, crafts, and jewelry. There are two subway (subte) lines within a 15-minute walk.
A trendy, creative, young area, Palermo Soho came into the limelight in the 1980s, when people began to recognize its convenient location and lovely ambiance. Upon its popularity hike, it began to morph from a purely residential area to something a bit more urban, with lots of unique restaurants and bars. Aside from shopping, eating, and drinking, there isn't much to do in this area of town, although it's a great place to simply walk around and people watch.
