  • Huge, marble bathrooms with separate showers and soaking tubs
  • Top-notch fitness center, with individual TVs for each machine, free headphones, and a yoga studio
  • Fine dining at The Florentine
  • Beautiful lobby with crystal chandeliers and a grand staircase
  • Spa with massage rooms, saunas, a UV-filtered pool, whirlpool, and salon
  • 44,000 square feet of meeting space, including two ballrooms

Cons

  • Noisy hallways
  • Fee for Wi-Fi

Bottom Line

Opened in late 2010, this upscale hotel is housed in a historic neoclassical-style building with crystal chandeliers and a grand staircase in the lobby. But sophisticated rooms are thoroughly modern, and big, elegant bathrooms have separate showers and soaking tubs. The Loop location is convenient for business travelers, and the pool and 24-four fitness center is top-notch.
