On a quiet street close to the Arc de Triomphe and the Convention Center
Les Jardins de la Villa is located on a small, quiet street one block from the Avenue de la Grande Armee, which leads to the Arc de Triomphe (a 12-minute walk away) and into the Champs Elysees. There’s not much in the way of sights around the hotel, but the metro is a short walk away, and the Convention Center, as well as the large shopping mall adjacent to it, is down the street.
The property is in the heart of the 17th arrondissement, home to a number of cafes and restaurants, as well as corporate offices and stores. Shopping on avenue Montaigne and the Faubourg Saint-Honore is within walking distance. Paris is one of Europe's most densely populated cities, and is currently one of the world's most important business and cultural metropolises. Known as "The City of Light" for its growth during the Age of Enlightenment, Paris is home to some of the world's most luxurious fashion (Hermes, Dior, Yves Saint Laurent), iconic museums, and structures, as well as major media and business outlets.
The 33-room Les Jardins de la Villa is a boutique hotel with contemporary style in a quiet location. Stylish rooms are a good size for Paris standards, and are equipped with great extras such as free on-demand movies, free Wi-Fi, and Nespresso machines. They strike a good balance between practical amenities and fun touches (pops of bright color, avant-garde headboards), and feature luxurious bathrooms with walk-in showers (pricier rooms also have separate soaking tubs). Hotel highlights include the two-person hammam, beautiful winter garden, and convenient honesty bar in the evenings. While breakfast is expensive and the location is a little out of the way, it is a good pick for amenities and style.
