Bottom Line
With an excellent location near Old Town Square, the Savic Hotel is a great choice for those looking to stay within a short walk of most of the city’s attractions. The upscale boutique hotel has 27 rooms with beautiful furnishings, including chandeliers and heavy wooden beds. There aren’t a lot of extra amenities -- no parking on-site, no fitness center or spa -- but there is a restaurant on-site with outdoor seating in the summer. Guests may want to compare rates at the nearby Rott Hotel, another four-pearl option in the same neighborhood.

Beautiful spaces including including atrium and outdoor tented dining area
Chandeliers and Victorian-inspired furniture complement wooden floors and ceilings with exposed wood beams at the Savic Hotel. A smoking lounge with fabric-covered chairs and wooden tables provides an indoor spot for smokers. The on-site Czech restaurant, U Dominikana, named after a former Dominican monastery, is housed in a glass room that looks much like a greenhouse, with plants, trees, and vines growing inside and out. Beautiful furnishings decorate the space including fabric-covered chairs and shimmery lights. There's additional restaurant seating outside under a tent on the cobbled street that runs in front of the hotel. Most guests here are tourists, largely because of the proximity to popular Old Town sites, and while the property is suitable for families, its romantic ambience and boutique atmosphere makes it better for couples.
