Most Romantic Hotels in Campos Do Jordao, State of Sao Paulo

An upscale alpine-style pousada, the Alto da Boa Vista has a distinctively Swiss feel right down to its live St. Bernard mascot. The graceful alpine-style chalets come with free Wi-Fi and flat-screen TVs, and some have fireplaces, jetted tubs, Japanese ofuro baths, and/or balconies with mountain views. Although it's a 12-minute drive from Capivari and its tourist attractions, and lacks a pool and other facilities of full-scale hotels, such as the nearby Leao da Montanha, the mid-range Recanto provides a gracious, quiet, and intimate stay at lower rates. It's more upscale than the nearby Pousada Villa di Fiori, and it offers free breakfast and afternoon tea, and has charming rooms with free Wi-Fi and flat-screen TVs.

Although a bit far from the Capivari tourist fun (it's a 15-minute drive), the Recanto does offer a secluded forested location with mountain views from the property and many of the chalets. The alpine-style chalets are gracious in feel, and many have some combination of jetted tubs, fireplaces, and balconies or verandas. Unlike many of the smaller inn-style pousadas in the Campos area, the Recanto is a big property, and has a wealth of facilities, such as a swimming pool, sauna, playground, and mini-golf course. Families with kids appreciate the fun recreational activities, while couples like the seclusion and romantic atmosphere. 

Opened in 2012, Pousada Serra do Jordao offers a clean, pleasant, and quiet alpine inn experience with a romantic feel. Situated in a wooded location in the mountains outside the vacation town of Campos do Jordao, the 23-room inn offers little in the way of amenities, but does provide an ample free breakfast and contemporary rooms with free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, and balconies with forest or mountain views. A visit to the property is a good choice for couples and families who want a small inn stay with proximity to the shops, German- and Swiss-style restaurants and bars, and outdoor activities of the area.
