The upscale, 180-room Georgian Court Hotel is on the edge of Downtown Vancouver, within walking distance of numerous Vancouver attractions. Rooms are large and contemporary, if a tad generic, with flat-screen TVs and mahogany accents, and a special women's-only floor (known as the Orchid Floor) is available, with rooms that include curling irons, flat irons, yoga mats, and fashion magazines for no extra fee. The fitness center is small, and other downtown hotels are more centrally located, but the hotel provides a free shuttle to downtown sites.

On the edge of Downtown Vancouver
The Georgian Court Hotel is right next door to the BC Sports Hall of Fame and BC Place Stadium, home to numerous Canadian teams and where some events from the 2010 Olympic Winter Games took place. There is also a SkyRail line just a couple blocks from the hotel.
The property is located in Downtown Vancouver, the financial and commercial hub of the city. It's bustling during the weekdays, when tourists and locals fill the streets -- but empties out at night and on the weekends. However, Robson Square is always alive, featuring restaurants, shops, bars, and the Vancouver Art Gallery.
