While only one winner can take home the coveted Oscar in each category, the other nominees can still come out on top. For 16 years, Los Angeles–based marketing company Distinctive Assets has been putting together unofficial gift bags for Oscar nominees in the following categories: Best Actress, Best Actor, Best Supporting Actress, Best Supporting Actor, and Best Director, and the host of the event. (It’s important to note that company has no affiliation with the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, and, in fact, the Academy filed an infringement lawsuit against the firm last year.) This year’s bag is appropriately named “Everyone Wins,” and includes such quirky goodies as SweetCheeks cellulite massage mats, Rouge Maple pure organic maple syrup, and a Crayola My Way customized box of crayons, as well as luxurious gifts like 10 sessions with a celebrity personal trainer, an in-house sommelier service—and several luxury vacations. Included in this year’s gift bag are stays at Lost Coast Ranch, a private mansion in Northern California; Grand Hotel Tremezzo on Lake Como; Koloa Landing Resort at Poipu in Hawaii; and Grand Hotel Excelsior Vittoria in Sorrento, Italy.
