Bottom Line

The luxury Marquis Los Cabos All Inclusive Resort & Spa is conveniently situated on The Corridor, the main road running between Los Cabos International Airport and Cabo San Lucas, and beachfront to Costa Azul -- though the beach can be too rough for swimming. With three pools, several restaurant choices, a full-service spa, chic bar, and 24-hour room service, this is a great choice for couples who want an adult-only experience. However, Canto del Mar costs extra and some of the specialty restaurants have limited hours. The 235 rooms are spacious and luxurious with L’Occitane bath products and ocean view balconies -- some suites have private pools. Coffee is delivered to the rooms every morning. Those looking for a swimmable beach and lower rates should check out ME Cabo by Melia, a more lively option geared towards adults.

Marquis Los Cabos All-Inclusive Resort & Spa

Scene

Quiet, luxury resort with an entertainment staff by day and small bar scene at night

The grandeur of the Marquis Los Cabos Resort and Spa is on immediate display with expansive white wings and a circular stone driveway. Guests are greeted by a massive open-air lobby which extends through to a decorative infinity pool and stunning views of the Sea of Cortez. The tranquil and laid-back resort exudes a simple opulence throughout with modern white couches, high white walls, and decorative Roman sculptures -- all without seeming overdone. Black stone seeded walkways lead the way through perfectly manicured grounds and lovely open terraces.

A quiet vibe permeates throughout the hotel, slow jazz is played on garden speakers out by the pools. A small social scene is active at the center pool where the activity staff organizes water volleyball games and stretching (a slow paced yoga). With two infinity pools stretching the length of the hotel, guests can choose however much socialization and activity they wish to partake in or get away from it all. Bar Suspiro, the main bar, opens in the afternoon, and is a popular spot for guests to hang out before dinner watching sports or socializing with one another. Note that kids are not allowed at the resort.
