Scene

Hip and trendy hotel with a poolside DJ and lively theme nights

Located on a quiet road leading into downtown Cabo, ME Cabo has the best of both worlds: the party atmosphere of Cabo without all the noise from neighboring beach clubs and hotels. Guests are greeted with a welcome glass of Champagne or cider beer in the funky and spacious lobby, which has modern purple, birdcage chairs, vaulted ceilings, and open and stunning views of the pool. With a daily DJ spinning house music in a contemporary booth overlooking the pool and beach throughout the day, there is a constant vibe of conviviality throughout the terrace. Hosting different theme parties and DJs some nights of the week, there is plenty of action for guests into the evening as well. there are a few quiet common areas with modern purple couches and the spacious lobby with funky birdcage chairs. The vast majority of guests are couples and groups of friends on vacation who want to drink and party. Families wanting a tranquil vibe should definitely look elsewhere.

Location

On the white sands of Playa el Medano and a seven-minute walk to downtown Cabos

There’s a lot to like about ME Cabo’s convenient location, it’s situated directly on Playa el Medano and within easy walking distance of downtown Cabo, but also far enough from other hotels to be private. Some of the more popular beach clubs in Cabo, The Office and Mango Deck, are an eight-minute walk from the hotel, while the trendy SUR Beach Club is a five-minute walk from the hotel. There are plenty of small shops along the way for snacks and groceries, and a laundromat is a four-minute walk down the road from ME Cabo. The marina and popular water sports -- glass-bottom boats, party cruises, and fishing -- are a 15-minute walk or a five-minute drive from the hotel.

The quaint town of San Jose del Cabo is a 30-minute drive along The Corridor (main route running between the cities), and the town has a lively art scene, lovely restaurants, and charming cobblestone streets. Travelers should allow at least 40 minutes of travel time to drive to the main San Jose International Airport. The much smaller Cabo San Lucas International Airport is a 20-minute drive from the hotel.
