Pros
- Nice location on 5th Avenue near shops and restaurants
- Small heated outdoor pool is in a secluded, tree-surrounded area
- Room decor is warm with non-hotel-like furnishings
- Large flat-screen TVs and modern (if small) bathrooms
- Waterfront restaurant, a coffee bar, and a mini-mart in the lobby
- On-site kayak rentals, and boat charters at the marina
- Live outdoor entertainment during the summer
- Free Wi-Fi in the lobby, and free wired Internet in the rooms
Cons
- The beach is 15 minutes away by car
- No fitness center
- Only the suites and penthouse have microwaves and mini-fridges
- Internet in the rooms is wired only
Bottom Line
The Bayfront Inn has a quaint and convenient location on 5th Avenue, near shops and restaurants and overlooking Naples Bay. The 91-room hotel is a step above some nearby hotels in a similar price range: It has stylish rooms with classic decor and modern bathrooms, a secluded tree-surrounded pool area with a nice water feature, and numerous rooms with attractive bay views. However, the pool is small, there is no fitness center, and only suites have mini-fridges and microwaves.

Location
Overlooking Naples Bay and situated on shop-lined 5th Avenue
One of the most sophisticated towns in southwestern Florida, Naples is a golfer's paradise, with more than 80 wonderful golf courses around the area. It's a sprawling town so visitors will probably need to have a car to move around, but the downtown area has an upscale shopping district, a few art galleries, and a wide array of restaurants for strolling. However, there’s little to do besides going to the beach, and there is no nightlife whatsoever -- it’s more of a retirement community than a party spot or a place to go with the kids.
- 10-minute drive to Naples Municipal Airport
- 50-minute drive to Southwest Florida International Airport
- 5 to 10-minute walk to various shops, restaurants, and art galleries along 5th Avenue
- 6-minute walk to Downtown Naples (Olde Naples)
- 5-minute drive to the Naples Pier, a great spot to watch the sunset
- 6-minute drive to Naples Nature Center, complete with hiking trails
- 6-minute drive to Naples Zoo
- 11-minute drive to Naples Museum of Art
- 15-minute drive to Vanderbilt Beach
- 16-minute drive to Naples National Golf Club
