There’s a lot to like about this 287-room hotel, if you're searching for an all-inclusive experience in the heart of the party-Mecca of the Hotel Zone: three pools with stunning ocean views, lots of dining options, great rooms with high-tech amenities (like iPod docks and flat-screen TVs), a full spa (not included in the price), a tiny but modern fitness center, and a location right on a gorgeous white-sand beach. However, the hotel lacks the character of smaller, cozier hotels in the downtown area of Cancun. And those not looking for a 24/7 party should consider hotels in other areas.

The Beach Palace faces a gorgeous white-sand beach with turquoise waters on the eastern side, and a tranquil lagoon on the western side. It is located right in the heart of Cancun’s Hotel Zone, close to shops, restaurants, and bars.
Mostly all-inclusive, self-contained resorts make up the Hotel Zone -- as do the area's most popular bars and nightclubs, making this more a "party zone" than a hotel zone. Visitors don’t come to this part of Cancun for the sights -- there are none, other than the popular beaches and the nightlife. The Hotel Zone is one long stretch of white sand lined with hotels and businesses that cater exclusively to tourists -- the locals live and play in the more culture-rich downtown area (known as Ciudad Cancun), which is a short drive away.
