Set in a wildlife refuge more than 700 feet above the Jackson Valley, the Spring Creek Ranch has arguably the most stunning views of the Tetons in the area. It has a wide array of room categories, from standard hotel rooms to immense two-bedroom condos, but the quality and design of each unit varies greatly, making it a game of hit-or-miss. While some condos are ultra-luxurious in every possible way, others are plain and come with more basic amenities. Most standard hotel rooms are in need of an urgent renovation. The delicious, popular restaurant and the excellent heated outdoor pool are not to be missed, though.

Perched 800 feet above the Valley and a 10-minute drive from the town of Jackson
The Spring Creek Ranch is officially part of the town of Jackson, but despite being a 10-minute drive from the downtown area, it feels like a whole different world. This sprawling property is perched some 800 feet above everything, in a secluded and quiet spot that feels removed from the rest of the valley.
There’s nothing in the immediate neighborhood, but a short drive will put you in the heart of the action in Jackson, and a 35-minute drive will take you to the challenging slopes right by Teton Village. This, far from being a downside, is actually what makes this property special -- the views of the Tetons and the stars at night can’t be beat. Plus, it’s a great base to explore the surrounding national parks.
