In the heart of downtown Portland
The Ace Hotel Portland is located just three blocks from Pioneer Courthouse Square in a bustling part of Portland's downtown area. It's a short walk from Portland's popular Pearl District and a five-minute stroll from famous Powell's Books.
Downtown Portland is the heart of the city, and is centered around the lively Pioneer Square. It's also home to multiple museums, urban parks, and residential condos. Portland State University borders Downtown to the south. Forest Park, 5,000 acres of pure nature, can be found in the northwest hills of Downtown Portland. It's one of the nation's largest urban parks and has plenty of biking and hiking trails for adventurous travelers.
The Ace Hotel Portland has as many quirky, bohemian characteristics as its sister properties in New York and Palm Springs. This boutique emphasizes style over space or luxury, featuring touches such as reclaimed school chairs, nightstands made out of books or suitcases, turntables, and stacks of vinyl records. Bathrooms have Malin+Goetz toiletries but are on the smaller side, with tiny exterior sinks and mirrors. Some rooms have shared bathrooms. Hotel highlights include a local, organic breakfast in the breakfast room, a great happy hour scene at the Clyde Common lobby bar, and coffee at the Stumptown Cafe. This pet-friendly hotel has a great central location for exploring Portland on foot.
