The hotel features a seasonal outdoor pool, fitness center, and seafood restaurant showcasing, plus there are several more restaurants located on the estate. The 209 fresh, contemporary guest rooms all come with 42-inch flat-screen TVs, mini-fridges, Keurig coffeemakers, free Wi-Fi, and attractive bathrooms; Suites have separate jetted tubs. Some units offer views of the estate’s woods and fields.
Geared toward families that want to get away and relax in the great outdoors, Asheville Cabins of Willow Winds features 25 unique cabins on a wooded 40-acre property. Some rooms have views of the Blue Ridge Mountains while others suffer noise from hallway noise, but all are clean and homey. It's a great mid-range value -- rates tend to be more affordable than at sister property Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, Asheville Downtown Tunnel Road.

Guests rooms are clean and fresh, with an attractively contemporary aqua-and-brown motif plus microwaves and mini-fridges. Those who need extra space can book a suite with a separate living area and sofa bed, and there are even rooms with hot tubs. An indoor pool and hot tub for all guests is open year-round. The freebies are numerous and include a big breakfast buffet, 24/7 cookies and coffee in the lobby, parking, a book lending library, and Wi-Fi. Chain eateries and the Asheville Mall are close by, and downtown Asheville can be reached in five minutes by car.
